Preparation
What you need
- An active WarpTok service (Pro or higher recommended)
- A TikTok Live account with live permissions
- Streaming software (OBS Studio, vMix, etc.)
- A stable internet connection
Get TikTok streaming URL
- Sign in to TikTok web or TikTok Studio
- Open the Live or Go Live feature
- Choose third‑party streaming software
- Copy the Server URL and Stream Key
Keep the stream key secure. Do not share it with others.
Configure WarpTok
Set target address
Set TikTok streaming server as the target
- Log in to the WarpTok console
- Go to My Services and select your service
- Click Edit target address
- Fill in the TikTok server details:
- - Target IP: Extract from the Server URL (e.g. live.tiktok.com)
- - Target port: 1935 (default RTMP port)
- Click Save to apply
Choose the best entry region
Pick the lowest-latency region for your location
- Open the service details page to view two entry addresses
- Click Change region on each entry address
- Recommended regions:
- - Asia: Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan
- - EU/US: United States, Germany, United Kingdom
- Record the entry IP and port for later use in your streaming software
You can use ping to compare latency and choose the best region.
Configure streaming software
OBS setup
- Open OBS Studio
- Go to Settings → Stream
- Service: Custom
- Server: rtmp://[WarpTok Entry IP]:[Entry Port]/live
- Example: rtmp://203.0.113.45:1935/live
- Stream key: paste the Stream Key from TikTok
- Click Apply and OK
Recommended streaming parameters
Optimize quality and stability
- Video bitrate: 2500-4000 Kbps (adjust by network)
- Encoder: x264 or hardware encoding (NVENC/AMF)
- Resolution: 1920x1080 or 1280x720
- Frame rate: 30fps or 60fps
- Keyframe interval: 2 seconds
Start with a lower bitrate to test stability, then increase if needed.
Go live
Test the connection
- Click Start Streaming in OBS
- Watch the OBS status bar:
- - Green: connected
- - Red/Yellow: connection issues
- Return to TikTok Studio to preview the stream
- Confirm audio/video are working
Start the live stream
- Set the live title and cover in TikTok Studio
- Choose a category
- Click Go Live
- Monitor traffic usage in the WarpTok console
Troubleshooting
Stream connection fails
- Check that the WarpTok service is running
- Verify the target address configuration
- Try switching the entry region
- Check local network stability
Stream is laggy
- Lower the streaming bitrate
- Check available WarpTok traffic
- Switch to a lower-latency entry region
- Verify your upload bandwidth is sufficient
Stream drops unexpectedly
- Check if the WarpTok service expired or traffic ran out
- Look for errors in OBS
- Switch to the backup entry address
- Contact WarpTok support
