Preparation

What you need

  1. An active WarpTok service (Pro or higher recommended)
  2. A TikTok Live account with live permissions
  3. Streaming software (OBS Studio, vMix, etc.)
  4. A stable internet connection

Get TikTok streaming URL

  1. Sign in to TikTok web or TikTok Studio
  2. Open the Live or Go Live feature
  3. Choose third‑party streaming software
  4. Copy the Server URL and Stream Key

Keep the stream key secure. Do not share it with others.

Configure WarpTok

Set target address

Set TikTok streaming server as the target

  1. Log in to the WarpTok console
  2. Go to My Services and select your service
  3. Click Edit target address
  4. Fill in the TikTok server details:
  5. - Target IP: Extract from the Server URL (e.g. live.tiktok.com)
  6. - Target port: 1935 (default RTMP port)
  7. Click Save to apply

Choose the best entry region

Pick the lowest-latency region for your location

  1. Open the service details page to view two entry addresses
  2. Click Change region on each entry address
  3. Recommended regions:
  4. - Asia: Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan
  5. - EU/US: United States, Germany, United Kingdom
  6. Record the entry IP and port for later use in your streaming software

You can use ping to compare latency and choose the best region.

Configure streaming software

OBS setup

  1. Open OBS Studio
  2. Go to Settings → Stream
  3. Service: Custom
  4. Server: rtmp://[WarpTok Entry IP]:[Entry Port]/live
  5. Example: rtmp://203.0.113.45:1935/live
  6. Stream key: paste the Stream Key from TikTok
  7. Click Apply and OK

Recommended streaming parameters

Optimize quality and stability

  1. Video bitrate: 2500-4000 Kbps (adjust by network)
  2. Encoder: x264 or hardware encoding (NVENC/AMF)
  3. Resolution: 1920x1080 or 1280x720
  4. Frame rate: 30fps or 60fps
  5. Keyframe interval: 2 seconds

Start with a lower bitrate to test stability, then increase if needed.

Go live

Test the connection

  1. Click Start Streaming in OBS
  2. Watch the OBS status bar:
  3. - Green: connected
  4. - Red/Yellow: connection issues
  5. Return to TikTok Studio to preview the stream
  6. Confirm audio/video are working

Start the live stream

  1. Set the live title and cover in TikTok Studio
  2. Choose a category
  3. Click Go Live
  4. Monitor traffic usage in the WarpTok console

Troubleshooting

Stream connection fails

  1. Check that the WarpTok service is running
  2. Verify the target address configuration
  3. Try switching the entry region
  4. Check local network stability

Stream is laggy

  1. Lower the streaming bitrate
  2. Check available WarpTok traffic
  3. Switch to a lower-latency entry region
  4. Verify your upload bandwidth is sufficient

Stream drops unexpectedly

  1. Check if the WarpTok service expired or traffic ran out
  2. Look for errors in OBS
  3. Switch to the backup entry address
  4. Contact WarpTok support
